Blind Date

This is my second watchface that I developed for Garmin watches with a rectangular display.

Since my brother-in-law had problems reading the relatively small font of my Watchface Easy, I developed this watchface for him.

Like my Watchface Easy, the Watchface Blind Date is written in Monkey C and the source code is available under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0) on Github.

If you digitize a shitty process, you have a shitty digital process.

Blind Date

My goal was to display the most important information as large and as easy to read as possible and to make the best possible use of the space on the display.
Therefore, in addition to the date and time, only the heart rate, the steps taken and the battery level of the watch are displayed.

Since I was able to use my experience and a simplified version of the source code of my Watchface Easy, the development was completed relatively quickly in 2 - 3 weeks.

The watch face is available in 6 prefabricated themes and again has the option of freely customizing all colors.

Depending on settings of the watch, the watchface supports the 12- or 24-hour format.
Since no localized texts were used, it supports all languages supported by the Garmin watch.

All icons are of course created by myself again. As with my Watchface Easy, I converted the icons into a font again so that I could use the internal font engine of the Garmin SDK to color them.

The watchface is also available for free in the Garmin ConnectIQ Store for Garmin Venu® Sq, Garmin Venu® Sq Music, Garmin Venu® Sq 2 and Garmin Venu® Sq 2 Music.
