This privacy policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the app "Lists". I take the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly adhere to the rules of data protection laws.

3.1. No Collection of Personal Data

My app does not collect personal data from users. All data entered is stored exclusively on the user's device. There is no storage or processing of this data on my servers.

3.2. Data Storage in Google Cloud

If the user enables a backup of their data, the data will be stored in Google Cloud. This only occurs if the user explicitly activates this feature in the app settings. Google's privacy policies can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
The responsibility for data security in Google Cloud lies with Google.

3.3. Data Transfer to Garmin Devices

The data you enter is also transferred to connected Garmin watches via Bluetooth using the Garmin ConnectIQ API as part of the app usage. This data transfer occurs solely between your smartphone and the Garmin watch and is not stored or processed on my servers.

Use of AdMob

4.1. General

My app uses AdMob, a service provided by Google Inc., to integrate advertisements. AdMob may collect and process personal data such as IP address and advertising ID. This data is used for personalized advertising.

4.2. Type of Data Processing by AdMob

AdMob uses cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to display ads based on your previous visits to this app and other apps/websites. The collected information may include:

4.3. Purpose of Data Processing by AdMob

As a user, you have the right to request the deletion of data collected by AdMob. Since AdMob is operated by Google, data processing is handled directly by Google. To delete your data, you can follow these steps:

  • Visit the Google Data & Privacy settings
  • Log in with your Google account associated with the collected data.
  • Manage your ad settings, delete your advertising ID, or request data deletion following Google's instructions.

Please note that as a developer, I do not have direct access to the data collected by AdMob and therefore cannot initiate the deletion of this data. For further assistance, you can contact AdMob Support.

5. Consent

Upon the first launch of the app, your consent for the use of AdMob and the associated data processing will be obtained. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. You can disable the display of personalized ads in the app settings.

6.1. Right of Access

6.2. Right to Rectification

  • You have objected to the processing pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of mine override yours.

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to me, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from me.

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. I will no longer process the personal data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

I reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time to reflect changes in the law or in the event of changes to the service or the manner in which data is processed. The current version is available in the app and on my website.
