Plan International Germany is one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations and has been working for more than 80 years to promote children's rights and gender equality.
Each year, Plan International Germany supports more than 3,000 projects in around 80 countries, helping children and their families in areas such as education, healthcare, child protection, and access to clean water.
In 2022, the organization received approximately €128 million in donations and grants. With around 1,000 employees working both in its partner countries and at its headquarters in Hamburg, the organization is committed to sustainable development and the protection of human rights.
Plan International Germany places great importance on transparency and regularly publishes detailed annual reports about its activities and finances.

Plan International Germany places a particular focus on empowering girls and women, as they continue to face discrimination and unequal opportunities in many parts of the world.
Through targeted initiatives such as educational programs, scholarships, and projects that strengthen women's economic independence, the organization creates long-term opportunities and helps build fairer societies.
A key principle of Plan International Germany is its close cooperation with local partners and communities to ensure that its projects have a lasting impact and address the specific needs of the people they serve.
The organization also places great importance on involving children and young people in its work, giving them a voice and enabling them to actively shape their own future.
